Conveyancing

Conveyancing is the legal process of transferring a property from one owner to another. Tesco Property Market has linked up with MyHomeMove, one of the largest independent providers of conveyancing services in England and Wales to provide a comprehensive legal service to owners of homes in England and Wales. You can get an immediate online conveyancing quote for buying or selling and this will remain valid and not increase* for 30 days.
Buyers and sellers can arrange a quote and receive information about the service ready for when their property goes under offer. This will help speed things up once a sale's agreed (just remember that the quote may alter if the offer price changes). Simply provide us with the details and the value of the property, and you'll get an instant quote that includes the conveyancing fee, plus the additional costs such as the Land Registry fee, local searches and stamp duty land tax that you have to pay when you buy a house. These extra costs are estimates and may vary depending on the location of your property. We will keep you informed of any additional costs.
Once you accept the quote you will be sent a starter pack. MyHomeMove will get to work and you'll be able to keep track of their progress online with regular conveyancing reports.
No move no fee
If for any reason your sale or purchase falls through, MyHomeMove will not charge you anything for their time. However, if they have paid out any of the additional costs such as search and bank costs on your behalf, they will still need payment for these.
* Most houses sold in the last 15 years are already registered, however, if a property is unregistered, additional work is involved which may incur a further charge, together with a higher Land Registry fee in the case of a purchase transaction. The fee is also based upon the information which you have given us, so if this is wrong or changes you should let MyHomeMove know immediately.
